Carlos Tevez’s agent Kia Joorabchian has admitted that the Argentinian striker was offered to Inter Milan in a deal that would have brought Wesley Sneijder to the Etihad stadium.
The 40-year-old businessman revealed that if City had not captured Samir Nasri from Arsenal, Roberto Mancini was open to sending Tevez to Milan in exchange for the Dutch midfielder.
“I know that Inter were offered Sneijder in exchange for Carlos about a week or two weeks ago but after they signed Nasri it was over,” Joorabchian told talkSPORT.
“[City] had too many players in that same position. If Nasri hadn’t have gone, then that deal would probably have protracted."
The 27-year-old forward will be forced to stay in the North West until the next transfer window in January.
