Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has attempted to reaffirm his desire to remain at the North West club after earlier claiming that he had "no option" but to join the Premier League champions.
The Argentina international, who started on the bench for City's 3-2 defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League last night, claimed that he would have signed for the Spanish giants over City if they had made an offer for him while at Atletico Madrid.
After last night's loss Aguero tweeted: "Just to make it clear - I'm very happy to be in Manchester City. It's the best decision I could have taken."
The 24-year-old added: "I feel comfortable and appreciated in Manchester City - it's a project I feel involved in. We want more titles and we'll get them!"
Meanwhile, City boss Roberto Mancini has criticised goalkeeper Joe Hart for slamming the performance of his teammates following the defeat at the Bernabeu.
