Sergio Aguero expecting big future at Man City

Sergio Aguero believes that he is only just getting started at Manchester City following an impressive start to his Premier League career.

Sergio Aguero has claimed that he is only just getting started at Manchester City following a successful beginning to his Premier League career.

The striker has scored 21 goals in all competitions for Roberto Mancini's side this season and is a key component of the club's bid to win trophies both in Europe as well as domestically.

Aguero said: "When I scored twice on my debut I tweeted, 'This is the beginning of something big'.

"I wrote it because I am always trying to achieve great things. I still feel the same way. I think this is only the beginning for me at City."

The former Atletico Madrid forward also admitted that his form this season has come as a surprise.

"If you had told me before arriving that I would play like I did, I wouldn't have believed you - even though I have always been confident," Aguero added.

Manchester City will face Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
