Sergio Aguero thanks Manchester City fans after his two-goal debut.

Sergio Aguero has thanked Manchester City supporters following his two-goal debut for the club.

City's record signing came off the bench with 30 minutes remaining to claim a brace, while also setting up another goal for David Silva as the home side defeated Swansea City 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

After the match, Argentinian Aguero took the time to praise the club's fans.

"The only thing I have to say to them is thank you for all the support," the 23-year-old told the club's official website.

"The only way I can keep saying thank you is on the pitch by doing what I know best.

"I'm happy with the start of my City career. It was really good and I want to keep it this way."

Aguero joined City from Atletico Madrid in July.
