Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart believes that Carlos Tevez is "committed" to working hard for the club despite claiming he wanted to leave the North West side in the summer.
The 27-year-old striker, who criticised the Manchester area, was close to joining Brazilian side Corinthians in the recent transfer window before a deal fell through.
While the Argentina international will remain at the Etihad Stadium until at least January, the England number one believes that Tevez is fully committed to the Blues.
"There's a lot of respect for Carlos because he's a great guy and a great footballer," Hart told BBC Football Focus. "You wake up and read one thing about him, but in training he's really committed to what he's doing.
"He's never disrespected the club in any kind of way or disrespected us as teammates. He's got on with it."
The frontman is yet to open his scoring account for City this season.
