Joleon Lescott insists that Manchester City must be fully focused against Blackburn.

Joleon Lescott has said that his Manchester City teammates must be fully prepared to face a dangerous Blackburn Rovers outfit this afternoon.

Blackburn, who have struggled for much of the season, have secured several upsets against top-of-the-table teams including Manchester United and Arsenal. As a result, Lescott insists that the club cannot afford to lose focus following back to back games in Europe.

"The last couple of weeks it's been Europa League, so we've been focused on that," he told the club's official website. "Now we can focus on our main objective for this season, which is to win the Premier League.

"Now it's the business end of the season, teams are not looking for performances, but for results. Blackburn need them as much as us, so I'm sure will be just as determined to win the game as we will."

Roberto Mancini's side have won four games in a row ahead of this afternoon's fixture.
