Roberto Mancini says that Champions League success is the next step for Manchester City.

Roberto Mancini is now targeting Champions League glory after winning Manchester City's first league title for 44 years.

The Italian, who has now won silverware in back-to-back seasons for the Citizens, said that winning is a habit, but believes that it will take more to win the Champions League.

"[Champions League] is the next step," said Mancini. "The first year was the FA Cup, the second the Premier League, and I hope the third will be the Champions League. But we have to improve a lot. Still, I have the sensation that we could do it.

"Once you have started to win and you know how to do it, many things follow as a consequence. We have started a cycle of success but to win the Champions League it will take more."

Mancini has been at the helm since December 2009.
