Roberto Mancini has said that Manchester City's 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League this evening was a difficult one.
An Edin Dzeko strike in the 35th minute was enough for last season's English champions to take all three points at the Etihad Stadium.
The manager told BBC Sport: "It was a difficult game because we changed a lot of players but it was important for us to win the game.
"After 10 minutes we started to play better and we missed five incredible chances to score which made it difficult for us in the second half."
The game was City's last before they face Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup final.
