Manuel Pellegrini: 'Draw at Chelsea can spark revival'

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini believes that his side's draw with Chelsea can help turn around their recent poor run of form.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has backed his side to return to winning ways after their poor run of results in January.

The Premier League champions have failed to record a victory in their last four games, but after witnessing his team improve in the 1-1 draw at Chelsea, Pellegrini is confident that his players can continue to mount a title challenge.

The 61-year-old told reporters: "Other teams will drop points. The last two times this team has won the title, they've come from behind.

"It was not a good January for us but I believe that the game against Chelsea can be the switch for our performances."

City host Hull City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
