Manchester City assistant manager David Platt has insisted that Pablo Zabaleta is the Premier League's best right-back.
The Argentine was the only City representative in the PFA Team of the Year, named on Monday evening, which included four members from their cross-city rivals and newly-crowned champions Manchester United.
Despite the riches at Roberto Mancini's disposal, Platt has claimed that the Citizens would not swap the 28-year-old for any right-back in the country.
"There hasn't been a better right-back this season," said Platt. "You can't have 11 masterchefs.
"All sorts of things go into producing a performance and Pablo's reliability to produce very high level performances is a welcome thing.
Zabaleta has made 39 appearances for City in all competitions this season, scoring three goals.
