Manchester City have shown an interest in signing Getafe midfielder Abdel Barrada, according to the player's agent.
The 23-year-old Moroccan international is currently contracted at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez until 2016.
"It's true Manchester City are following Abdel," said Jesus Mesas. "They have a fixed scout in La Liga each weekend to watch several games.
"But it is too early to make a decision on a possible transfer. We will have to wait until the season ends."
Barrada made his first senior appearance for Getafe in 2011 following a season in the club's reserve team.
