Anderson: 'Reading match is not easy'

Brazilian midfielder Anderson believes that every team raises their performances when they visit Manchester United.

Manchester United midfielder Anderson has insisted that his side will not have it easy against Reading in the FA Cup this evening.

The bookmakers have made the hosting Red Devils the clear favourites to win the tie and advance through to the quarter-finals of the competition.

However, Brazilian international Anderson has admitted that all teams raise their game when they visit Old Trafford and as a result, United will need to be at their best to defeat the Royals.

"People say 'Oh, United have an easy game,' but there are no easy matches. Everyone has to do their job and play well if we are to get through," he told United Review.

"Every team that comes to Old Trafford plays like it's their last game. That's how important a match at Old Trafford against United is to other teams. That makes it hard for us, but we know we have the quality to beat any team."

Anderson has been tipped to be part of the United midfield for tonight's fixture.
