Agent Joao Santos has said that Manchester United are yet to make an official approach for Napoli midfielder Jorginho.
Since the start of 2018, Jorginho has been strongly linked with a summer switch to Old Trafford after playing a starring role for the Partenopei during their Serie A title pursuit this season.
However, despite suggestions that United have already made an offer for the Italy international, Santos has claimed that he has not been in contact with either manager Jose Mourinho or his agent Jorge Mendes.
Santos told Crc: "Jorginho has done very well with Napoli, he plays for the Italian national team, he is unique in his characteristics and for those reasons he's probably being followed by many teams.
"At the moment though there are a lot of rumours flying about. The Napoli coach and players are being approached by first one team then another, but there's nothing official. The last thing I read is that Manchester United made a proposal through [Jose] Mourinho's representative [Jorge Mendes], but no-one called me."
Jorginho has made a total of 35 appearances in all competitions this season.
