Tom Cleverley has been forced to pull out of the England squad for their upcoming friendlies against the Republic of Ireland and Brazil through injury.
The midfielder picked up a calf problem during Manchester United's 5-5 draw with West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on May 19.
Manchester City's Jack Rodwell was called up to the squad last week amid fears that Cleverley would miss out.
England host Ireland on May 29 before travelling to Rio de Janeiro to play Brazil on June 2.
