Zlatan Ibrahimovic admits that he may have handled the ball in the lead-up to Paul Pogba's opening goal in Manchester United's 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted that he may have handled the ball in the build-up to Manchester United's opening goal against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

The ball appeared to come off the striker's hand before he delivered it to Paul Pogba, who scored from an offside position at Selhurst Park.

According to The Mirror, when asked by reporters after the game if it was a handball, Ibrahimovic said: "Could be, could be. I tried to pass to Paul as I saw he was free and I think it touched my hand first then my stomach. I will have to see the images."

The former Sweden international got on the scoresheet himself as he nabbed the winner two minutes from normal time to claim a 2-1 triumph.

While United tried to respond to Palace's equaliser, Juan Mata had a goal wrongly disallowed by referee Craig Pawson, who also decided against penalising Joe Ledley's handball.
