Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho reveals that he is "happy" with his current squad, but will not hold back selling certain players if they are seeking a move away.

Jose Mourinho has insisted that he is ready to offload any Manchester United player currently unhappy at the club, even if it is to a direct Premier League rival.

The Red Devils are reportedly looking to sell a raft of players when the window reopens in January, including the likes of Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger, who have yet to start a league game between them.

Mourinho will not hold back any of his stars if they want out of Old Trafford, having previously sold Juan Mata to United during his second spell in charge of Chelsea and also discarded Kevin De Bruyne for a cut-price figure.

"I am always open to listen to offers for every player. More than listen to offers, I am always ready to listen to the players themselves," he told reporters. "So any player who knocks on my door and is not happy and wants to move, when the offers are correct, I will never stop a player from leaving even if it is to a rival.

"When Mata left Chelsea to come to Manchester United, in my mentality it's no problem at all. I am always open. I am happy with the squad I have. I would like my squad to be my squad until the end of the season and I am not going to any player to say, 'You are going to leave' because I am not happy, because I don't want to have him."

Matteo Darmian was among those linked with a New Year exit from United, but the Italian full-back has declared that he wants to stay and become more of a regular.
