Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says that he is feeling "normal" ahead of Saturday's Manchester derby with Manchester City.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has played down suggestions that Saturday's Manchester derby against Manchester City will be decisive in terms of the race for the Premier League title.

Both clubs will enter this weekend's match off the back of three straight wins at the start of the new campaign, but Mourinho insists that "there is no match more important than another one" at this early stage of the season.

"I am normal. For us, it is a game and for me especially it is a game. We are playing to try and win the title. When you do this there is no match more important than another one when it comes to this stage of the season," Mourinho told reporters.

"I know what a derby means for everyone; I've played derbies everywhere, in every country, in so many cities. I always want to be in the position of emotional control because for me it is just a game against a very good opponent. If you want to be successful and you want to win the game then we have to be at the top of our qualities."

Mourinho will once again come head to head with Man City boss Pep Guardiola this weekend, with the pair old enemies from their time at Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.
