Dutch football journalist Thijs Slegers told talkSPORT that he expects Van Gaal's contract to be tied up by next Wednesday before the coach focuses on his team ahead of this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
Despite Van Gaal's impending arrival, reports have claimed that striker Wayne Rooney feels uneasy about the possible move as he is concerned that he may play second fiddle to Dutch teammate Robin van Persie.
