Manchester United boss David Moyes believes that strike pair Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney can compete with any forward line in the world when fit and firing.
Van Persie has found the target eight times so far this season, while Rooney's return to form in recent weeks has been a bright spot for both United and England.
Moyes thinks that Van Persie and Rooney offer a variety to match their predatory instincts that sets them apart from Premier League rivals, while insisting that the best is yet to come from his star duo.
He told The Mirror: "Wayne and Robin, on their day, will be a match for any player anywhere in the world, never mind just in this country.
"So I think when those two are firing, then they are the best, I really do. I see that. I think they're both incredibly talented, both natural goalscorers. As footballers they both can probably play in several different positions because of their ability.
"So I'm looking forward to those two firing. And when we hit a real run those two will be something to rival, they really will."
Both men are competing with Javier Hernandez for a starting spot at Fulham tomorrow, with the Mexican netting three times in United's last two matches.
