Manchester United's David Moyes: "We can put it right"

Manchester United manager David Moyes insists that the Premier League champions should be judged by how they respond from their worst start to a season in 24 years.

David Moyes has insisted that Manchester United can recover from their worst start to a season in 24 years.

Following a home defeat to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, the Red Devils are 12th in the Premier League, having picked up just seven points from their first six matches.

"You're always going to have bad results in football, it is how you deal with them," he told reporters.

"We will move on and look forward to the next one. There are lots of games here and you get ready for the next one.

"I'm concerned after the game but only because we didn't play well. We can put it right."

United return to Premier League action at Sunderland this weekend, but firstly have to negotiate a difficult trip to Shakhtar Dontesk in the Champions League on Wednesday.
