Report: Wayne Rooney to miss Chelsea clash

Wayne Rooney will reportedly miss Manchester United's Premier League game at Chelsea on Sunday.

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney will reportedly miss his side's Premier League clash against Chelsea on Sunday.

According to The Mirror, the 28-year-old, who has been out of action since New Year's Day, has not recovered from his groin injury despite travelling to Egypt last week for a warm-weather training camp.

It has been reported that Rooney's chances of playing at Stamford Bridge are 50-50.

United are currently seventh in the league table, while Chelsea are two points behind leaders Arsenal in third.
