Paul Scholes could reportedly play on for one more season at Manchester United.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes is expected to play on for another season at Old Trafford.

The 37-year-old, who came out of retirement in January, scored in United's 2-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers on Sunday, and has been praised for his displays in recent weeks.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will offer Scholes the extension to continue for at least one more season, according to The Times.

United have dropped just two points in 12 league games since Scholes's return.
