Luke Shaw targets Premier League title

Manchester United's left-back Luke Shaw says that the squad are eager to win the Premier League title this season.

Luke Shaw has insisted that winning the Premier League title will be Manchester United's main focus this season.

As defending champions, the Red Devils could only finish in seventh spot last term.

However, with Louis van Gaal now at the helm, left-back Shaw has revealed that the entire squad are determined to return to the summit of English football.

"You have got to be positive and, for me personally, I have come here to win trophies. It is something everyone wants, not just me. Everyone in that dressing room is looking to do it," the 19-year-old told MUTV.

"We want to win the Premier League. Obviously there is no Champions League for us this season so the main focus is on the Premier League and we all cannot wait to get started."

Shaw joined United earlier this summer from fellow Premier League side Southampton.
