Chris Smalling disappointed with Manchester United stalemate

Chris Smalling expresses his disappointment as Manchester United are held to a 0-0 stalemate with Newcastle United.

Chris Smalling has taken to Twitter to reveal his disappointment after Manchester United were held to a goalless draw with Newcastle United on Saturday.

A frustrating afternoon for the Red Devils saw them unable to break down a well-organised Magpies outfit, and Smalling revealed his unhappiness with the result as United's 100% start to the campaign was ended at Old Trafford.

He tweeted: "Better team performance but disappointed to drop two points. We go again Wednesday!"

United travel to Belgium to face Club Brugge in a Champions Leagrue qualifier on Wednesday.
