After another unpredictable weekend in the Premier League, Sports Mole picks the 11 players who made their mark.

Paul Robinson (Blackburn): Back in the side following injury, the former England number one provided the solid base for a vital Rovers win against Fulham.

Davide Santon (Newcastle): Showed plenty of flair on the flanks for the Magpies during their win over QPR.

Rio Ferdinand (Man United): There's still question marks over the centre-back, but his performance against Bolton showed why, when fit, he's one of the first names on the team sheet at Old Trafford.

Fabricio Coloccini (Newcastle): A typically unflappable showing from the Argentine as Alan Pardew's side marches on.

Stephen Ward (Wolves): The full-back played his part in a Wolves team that frustrated high-flying Spurs at White Hart Lane.

Nathan Dyer (Swansea): The winger was a persistent nuisance in Swansea's deserved win against Arsenal.

Paul Scholes (Man United): Making his first Premier League start in over six months, the midfielder capped his return to Old Trafford with a typically-timed goal.

Leon Britton (Swansea): The midfielder's slick passing wouldn't have been out of place in the Arsenal team he helped defeat.

Seb Larsson (Sunderland): Provided much-needed creativity during the Black Cats' narrow defeat at Stamford Bridge.

Steven Fletcher (Wolves): His goal at White Hart Lane proved once again that he could be the difference between survival and relegation for Mick McCarthy's side this season.

Steve Morison (Norwich): A last-minute winner at West Brom was just rewards for a confident display.
