Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Davies has emerged as a transfer target for Wolverhampton Wanderers this month, according to The People.
The 34-year-old will be out of contract in the summer and talks are yet to begin regarding a fresh deal at the Reebok Stadium.
That has alerted Wolves manager Mick McCarthy, who is said to be keen on relieving the goalscoring burden off Steven Fletcher.
Bolton manager Owen Coyle would be reluctant to lose his target man, but a bid of £1m may force through the transfer.
