Mario Balotelli partners Sergio Aguero in attack for Manchester City, while captain Nemanja Vidic is not included for champions Manchester United.

Mario Balotelli will start this afternoon's Manchester derby at Old Trafford, despite an incident involving fireworks at his home on Friday evening.

The Italian will partner Sergio Aguero in attack, while Samir Nasri drops to the bench.

For hosts Manchester United, Danny Welbeck is preferred up front to Javier Hernandez, while captain Nemanja Vidic also misses out.

Wayne Rooney, Nani and Anderson are also recalled to the starting lineup after beginning last weekend's 1-1 draw with Liverpool as substitutes.

Man United: De Gea; Evra, Ferdinand, Evans, Smalling; Fletcher, Anderson, Nani, Young; Rooney, Welbeck.
