Victor Valdes hit backs at Louis van Gaal over 'snub' suggestions

Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes takes to social media to hit back at boss Louis van Gaal, who questioned the Spaniard's commitment levels.

Victor Valdes has taken a thinly-veiled swipe at Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal.

The 33-year-old's future at Old Trafford appears to be over after Van Gaal accused him of refusing to play for the reserves last season.

However, Valdes has now taken to Twitter to post a selection of images from youth team matches he took part in upon joining the club as a free agent in January, accompanied by the caption "respect".

Valdes, who is not a part of United's pre-season tour of the United States, started just one game for the club last term.
