Norwich City missed a number of good goalscoring opportunities as they slipped to a 2-0 defeat away at Manchester United this afternoon.
Steve Morison and Anthony Pilkington were particularly wasteful in front of goal, while United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard was forced into making a number of saves.
When Pilkington did manage to beat Lindegaard, his deflected effort struck the post before rebounding to safety.
United's goals came after the break courtesy of Brazilian midfielder Anderson and substitute centre-forward Danny Welbeck.
The three points see Manchester United maintain their place at the top of the Premier League table.
