Team News: Two changes for Man United at Swansea

Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger replace Michael Carrick and Adnan Januzaj in the Manchester United team to face Swansea City this afternoon.

Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger have replaced Michael Carrick and the injured Adnan Januzaj in the Manchester United team to face Swansea City this afternoon.

With those the only two changes from United's clash with Club Brugge in midweek, there is a first Premier League start of the season for Ander Herrera while Marouane Fellaini returns only to the bench after serving a three-game suspension.

Alongside Fellaini on the bench is Javier Hernandez, who is given a place in the squad for today's game despite reportedly being told by Louis van Gaal that he is free to leave the club.

There is a big blow for Swansea City as winger Jefferson Montero is ruled out after picking up a thigh injury in training, meaning that Wayne Routledge makes his first start of the season in Garry Monk's only change from the draw at Sunderland.

Defender Franck Tabanou and the returning Ki Sung-yeung come onto the substitutes' bench for the Swans, but there is no place in the squad for Leon Britton.

Live commentary of the game can be found here.

Swansea City: Fabianski; Naughton, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor; Cork, Shelvey; Sigurdsson, Ayew, Routledge; Gomis

Manchester United: Romero; Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Shaw; Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger; Mata, Herrera, Memphis; Rooney
