With the 20th World Cup finished, attention will now switch completely to the transfer market.
As far as the Premier League is concerned, over £200m has already been spent, but much more is expected to be shelled out over the coming weeks. Here, Sports Mole looks back over the last seven days for all the rumours and done deals from each of England's top 20 clubs.
Arsenal
There is only one place to start as far as Arsenal are concerned - Alexis Sanchez. After links with Liverpool and Juventus, it was the Gunners that secured the services of the Chilean international from Barcelona for a reported £30m. The winger is the club's second most expensive player of all time after Mesut Ozil.
Manager Arsene Wenger is not expected to stop there either, with the likes of Sami Khedira, Lars Bender, Calum Chambers and John Ruddy all linked with switches to the Emirates Stadium.

Aston Villa
Twitter can be a cruel place for football fans to be at the best of times and that will have been especially true for supporters of Aston Villa recently. Their club had been the source of much fun-poking following the arrivals of Joe Cole and Philippe Senderos and the signing of Kieran Richardson did little to quell that.
It could get even worse as well, with reports that free agent Nicklas Bendtner could be about to sign on at Villa Park. In terms of outgoings, last summer's flop Nicklas Helenius has returned to his former club Aalborg BK on a season-long loan.
Burnley
Rumour has it that Burnley boss Sean Dyche has grown frustrated with Middlesbrough, who are playing hardball over Lukas Jutkiewicz. If the Clarets fail to land the striker, it's believed that a move could be made for Danny Graham.
The future of midfielder Scott Arfield has been secured, though. The 25-year-old had 12 months left to run on his previous deal at Turf Moor, but he's now signed an extension until the summer of 2017.

Chelsea
It had all gone a little quiet on the transfer front at Stamford Bridge, that was until Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba was spotted in West London. However, the French international's agent has dismissed the notion that the former Manchester United youngster is about to return to the Premier League.
Someone that could be back with the Blues, though, is Didier Drogba. A report has claimed that the Ivorian has held discussions over a return to the club that he left in the summer of 2012, while young winger Josi Quintero has been recruited.
Crystal Palace
Having finally found his feet in the Premier League last season, Marouane Chamakh has committed his future to Palace by signing a two-year contract. His previous deal at Selhurst Park had expired earlier this summer.
Speculation has suggested that the Moroccan striker could soon be joined by a trio of players, with moves for Steven Caulker, Fraizer Campbell and Gylfi Sigurdsson all reportedly at an advanced stage. There could also be a return for Wilfried Zaha, who left 12 months ago for Manchester United.

Everton
There was a stage where it looked like it might not happen, but Everton announced last week that following a successful loan stint last season, former England midfielder Gareth Barry had penned a permanent three-year contract with the club.
Manager Roberto Martinez has also confirmed that he would like to re-sign another loanee in Lacina Traore, while a move for Romelu Lukaku is also believed to be in the offing.
Hull City
With Tom Ince having joined Robert Snodgrass in signing for The Tigers, Steve Bruce is now well stocked where his wide options are concerned. Now, his attention is said to have turned to the defence, with Harry Maguire and Michael Dawson under consideration.
Any future new arrivals will be playing alongside Joe Dudgeon after the defender agreed to a one-year contract extension last Wednesday.

Leicester City
The Foxes confirmed last week that last season's leading goalscorer David Nugent had committed his future to the club by signing a two-year deal with the newly-promoted outfit.
Even so, manager Nigel Pearson is thought to still want to bolster his goalscoring options. An offer of £6.25m for Leonardo Ulloa is said to have been lodged, but that was rejected by Brighton & Hove Albion, who are holding out for a larger fee.
Liverpool
It had been a long time coming, but on Friday afternoon Liverpool confirmed that they had agreed to sell talisman Luis Suarez to Barcelona. A number of names have been mooted as a replacement, including Real Madrid's Karim Benzema and Real Sociedad's Antoine Griezmann.
Moves for Swansea City duo Ben Davies and Wilfried Bony are also said to be underway, while Benfica youngster Lazar Markovic has reportedly arrived on Merseyside for a medical. It's been claimed that the Serbian will command a fee in the region of £20m.

Manchester City
Talk of Yaya Toure's future is threatening to dominate the summer as far as City are concerned. The latest rumour is that the supposed wantaway midfielder has been offered to European champions Real Madrid by his agent.
There was more positive news for the Premier League champions, though, in the form of goalkeeper Willy Caballero, who has signed on from Malaga. He could also soon be joined at the Etihad Stadium by Porto's French international centre-back Eliaquim Mangala.
Manchester United
One man is dominating the thoughts of Manchester United fans right now - Arturo Vidal. One journalist has claimed that the Juventus midfielder is on the verge of signing for Louis van Gaal's side, while the player himself recently refused to dismiss the speculation.
There is not such good news where United's reported of pursuit of Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria is concerned, though. Speculation has suggested that the Argentine is nearing a move to France with Paris Saint-Germain, while Arjen Robben has also distanced himself from a switch to Old Trafford.

Newcastle United
Newcastle fans can be forgiven for feeling a little giddy right now. Having seen their club ridiculed for their business in recent transfer windows, they've signed Siem de Jong from Ajax and now French playmaker Remy Cabella from Montpellier.
There could be further arrivals as well, with Netherlands defender Daryl Janmaat due for a medical on Tyneside shortly, while a return for Demba Ba is said to be high on Alan Pardew's agenda.
Queens Park Rangers
After a couple of failed bids, it's been claimed that QPR have reached an agreement with Ajax to sign their Icelandic striker Kolbeinn Sigthorsson for around £5m. He could replace Bobby Zamora, who is said to be a target of Championship side Millwall.
Staying with the theme of strikers - QPR may find themselves keeping hold of Loic Remy next season. He had been expected to sign for Arsenal, but a report at the weekend said that the Gunners had no intention of matching the French international's wage demands.

Southampton
The summer had been a rather depressing one for those of a Southampton persuasion up until now. However, that has changed somewhat over the last few days courtesy of the signings of Dusan Tadic and Graziano Pelle, both of whom played their football in Holland last term.
There could be further arrivals as well, with Sunderland's England Under-21 international Connor Wickham a reported target. Moves for Serge Gnabry, Martin Kelly and John Ruddy are also believed to be in the offing.
Stoke City
It had been quiet at the Britannia Stadium where transfers were concerned for some time, but that changed recently. The Potters are now in the running to sign Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic, who recently spent some time on loan with Ajax.
Should the Spaniard arrive, that will not end Peter Crouch's time at the club, according to manager Mark Hughes. The Stoke boss has insisted that the 33-year-old still has a "big part to play" in the Potteries.

Sunderland
The Black Cats relied heavily upon loan players last season and two made such an impression that Gus Poyet is thought to want to re-sign both of them. An £8m bid is believed to be on the way to Liverpool for Fabio Borini, while talks are said to be underway with Fiorentina to recruit full-back Marcos Alonso.
Meanwhile, despite reports having linked him with a move away from the Stadium of Light, with Galatasaray said to be extremely interested, Emanuele Giaccherini's agent has insisted that he is keen to remain on Wearside.
Swansea City
His two seasons in Wales have seen Michu have mixed fortunes, but his stint at the Liberty Stadium could be about to end. Reports have suggested that the Spaniard is close to sealing a season-long loan move to Rafael Benitez's Napoli.
He could be replaced by Watford centre-forward Troy Deeney, while a battle is believed to be underway between Swansea and Everton for Bosnian midfielder Muhamed Besic.

Tottenham Hotspur
While Spurs supporters will be keen to see some new faces, Hugo Lloris's decision to sign a new contract will have been a big boost for everybody connected with the club. The terms of the fresh deal have tied the French number one to White Hart Lane for another five years.
In terms of arrivals, there have been none secured yet, but reports are gathering pace that it won't take much longer from some concrete news. Among those linked with the club have been Julian Draxler, Ben Davies, Wilfried Bony and Ryan Bertrand.
West Bromwich Albion
New West Brom manager Alan Irvine is not hanging around when it comes to improving the squad that he has inherited from Pepe Mel. Joleon Lescott and Chris Baird arrived earlier this summer and now left-back Sebastien Pocognoli has been purchased for around £1.5m from Hannover.
Australia international Jason Davidson, who featured for the Socceroos at the World Cup, is also believed to be a target of Irvine.

West Ham United
It would seem that West Ham are preparing to spend big on a player that performed well at the World Cup. Ecuador striker Enner Valencia is said be undergoing a medical at Upton Park, with a £12m fee mooted.
Diego Poyet has already signed on with the East Londoners, but more money will have to be paid for Yevhen Konoplyanka after an initial offer of around £9.5m was rejected by Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
