Manchester City have reportedly agreed a deal to sign French central defender Eliaquim Mangala.
The Premier League champions are believed to have been chasing the 23-year-old for a number of months, but failed with a bid in the January transfer window.
However, a move to the Etihad Stadium now appears to be close for Mangala after City settled on a fee close to £31.8m with Porto, according to Goal.com.
City were eager to get the deal completed as soon as possible due to the reported interest of Chelsea, but Mangala is now expected to be unveiled as the newest member of Manuel Pellegrini's squad over the next few days.
