Three attackers Barcelona could sign before end of the summer transfer window

Sports Mole looks at three attackers who Barcelona could sign before the end of this summer's transfer window.

Barcelona are expected to bring in a new forward before the transfer window closes for business.

The Catalan outfit had identified Nico Williams as their leading target, but the Spain international is now almost certain to remain with Athletic Bilbao.

As a result, Hansi Flick's side are being forced to look elsewhere, and here Sports Mole takes a look at three attackers who could potentially arrive at the club before the summer transfer window closes for business.

Jadon Sancho (Manchester United)

Sancho was again left out of the Man United squad for Saturday's Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion, and it appears likely that the Englishman will be on the move before the transfer window closes for business.

The ex-Manchester City youngster patched-up his relationship with Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag upon returning to the club over the summer, but it is believed that the 24-year-old will leave Old Trafford over the next week.

Juventus are being strongly linked with the Englishman, but Barcelona are also thought to be considering making a late move.

As it stands, a permanent switch to Barcelona is unlikely, with Man United said to want in the region of €40m (£34m) for him, but a loan deal is possible.

Barcelona would need to move more players on late in the window, though, if they are to stand a chance of taking on his salary, which is thought to be £250,000 a week.

Federico Chiesa (Juventus)

Chiesa has been told that he can leave Juventus this summer, so the Italy international is set to be one of the big movers in the latter stages of the window.

Man United and Arsenal have both been linked with the forward, but it is thought to be unlikely that Chiesa will move to the Premier League before the deadline.

Barcelona allegedly view Chiesa as a genuine target, with the 26-year-old certainly fitting the brief when it comes to a low-cost addition.

The Italian has scored 32 goals and registered 23 assists in 131 matches for Juventus in all competitions, including 10 goals and three assists in 37 appearances last term.

Chiesa's ability to play in a number of different positions will make him an even more attractive proposition for Barcelona, and he will be available for a cut-price fee, with his contract in Turin due to expire next summer.

Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich)

Coman scored in Bayern's German Cup success last Friday, but there is currently speculation surrounding his future at Allianz Arena, with the German giants believed to be willing to let him leave, most likely on loan.

The 28-year-old scored five goals and registered three assists in 27 appearances for Bayern last term, while he has managed 64 goals and 66 assists in 295 appearances for the German giants in all competitions.

A loan move to Barcelona is possible, but like with Sancho, the Catalan outfit would need to make room in their budget to take on his huge wages.

There will also be concerns over his injury record, with Barcelona simply not in a position to take on a player who could be missing for long spells.

At his best, though, Coman is one of the most dangerous forwards in European football, and it could be one of the best deals of the summer if Barcelona are able to bring in the France international for a small loan fee.
