Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Inter Milan.
Mkhitaryan began the season in impressive form with five assists being provided in the opening month of the campaign, but the Armenian international has now fallen out of favour with boss Jose Mourinho.
The 28-year-old has played just 40 minutes of football in all competitions since November 5 and according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are keen to take advantage of the situation.
The Italian giants are currently in contention for the Serie A title and it has been suggested that Luciano Spalletti wants to secure a loan deal for the playmaker.
However, Inter are unable to put forward an offer for a permanent transfer as they have to meet FFP regulations at the start of 2018 and in the summer.
United are allegedly demanding in the region of £35m for Mkhitaryan, with Borussia Dortmund said to hold an interest in their former star man.
