Manchester City would want Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele to move to the Etihad Stadium in any potential deal for Raheem Sterling, according to a report.

Manchester City have reportedly informed Barcelona that they would want Ousmane Dembele to move to the Etihad Stadium in any potential deal for Raheem Sterling.

The Catalan giants are allegedly keen to explore the possibility of signing Sterling in January, with Man City thought to be open to letting the England international leave.

However, according to El Nacional, the Premier League champions would ask Barcelona for Dembele to be included as part of any move.

Dembele has still not signed a new deal at Camp Nou, and with his current terms due to expire next June, the Frenchman would be free to hold contract discussions with foreign clubs at the turn of the year.

The 24-year-old, who is still on the sidelines recovering from a serious knee injury, has scored 30 goals and registered 21 assists in 118 appearances for his current side in all competitions.

Manchester United and Juventus are also thought to be keen on a deal for the World Cup winner.
