Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar is reportedly on Manchester United's radar ahead of the opening of this summer's transfer window.
The Red Devils are expected to be active ahead of the 2020-21 campaign with the rebuild at Old Trafford underway following a difficult few years since Sir Alex Ferguson departed as head coach.
United are thought to be interested in signing at least one new central midfielder this summer, and according to the Daily Mail, Lyon's Aouar has emerged as a potential target.
The 21-year-old, who has been capped on 14 occasions by France's Under-21 side, has scored eight times and registered six assists in 31 appearances for his Ligue 1 side this term.
Aouar is also believed to be interesting Real Madrid, while Manchester City have recently been linked with a potential move for the midfielder during this summer's transfer window.
The Frenchman will see his current deal with Les Gones expire in June 2023.
