Manchester United are reportedly prepared to hand the club's famous number seven shirt to Jadon Sancho.
While United are one of a number of clubs who are interested in the winger, the England international is said to prefer a transfer to Old Trafford.
According to the Evening Standard, the North-West giants have indicated that they are willing to allow Sancho to wear the iconic shirt number.
In the past, players such as George Best, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo have been provided with the opportunity to join the list of star names to wear that particular shirt.
The 20-year-old has enjoyed a stunning campaign for Dortmund, contributing 16 goals and 17 assists in the Bundesliga and Champions League.
The former Manchester City trainee has just over two years remaining on his contract at the Westfalenstadion.
