Manchester United 'to offer two players in Bruno Fernandes deal'

Manchester United are reportedly willing to offer two players as part of a deal to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes this month.

Manchester United will reportedly offer two players as part of a deal to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes this month.

Reports claim claim that Sporting president Frederico Varandas and sporting director Hugo Viana have flown to Manchester for talks with United vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

The Red Devils are said to be confident of striking a deal for Fernandes, valued at around £60m, in this current window.

According to DN, United are even willing to offer two players from their current squad in order to push the deal over the line.

The report claims that one of these players is Marcos Rojo, whose performances at Sporting earned him a transfer to Old Trafford in 2014.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is particularly keen to bring in a midfielder in this window following injuries to Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay.
