Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard will be among the Manchester United players to leave Old Trafford next month, according to a report.

Unsettled attackers Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard will reportedly be among the Manchester United players to leave Old Trafford next month.

Martial's agent recently revealed that his client wants to seek pastures new in January, having become frustrated with his lack of action at the club during the 2021-22 campaign.

Lingard, meanwhile, has failed to work his way into the Man United XI this season after returning to the club following a successful loan spell at West Ham United in the second half of the 2020-21 campaign.

According to The Mirror, Martial and Lingard will lead the Man United exodus, with interim head coach Ralf Rangnick keen to trim the squad during the winter transfer window.

The report claims that Dean Henderson is also pushing to leave, with the 23-year-old behind David de Gea in the pecking order for the goalkeeping gloves this season.

Rangnick is allegedly happy for Martial and Lingard to leave but is reluctant to allow Henderson to move on in the middle of the 2021-22 campaign.

Man United had been due to return to Premier League action at home to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, but the match has been postponed following a coronavirus outbreak at the club.
