Paul Pogba 'to stay at Juventus until summer'

Paul Pogba's agent insists that the French midfielder will not be leaving Juventus this month, but leaves the door open for a big-money move at the end of the season.

Paul Pogba will not be leaving Juventus during this transfer window, but will review his future with the club in the summer, his agent has confirmed.

The Frenchman has developed into one of the best midfielders in the world since leaving Manchester United in 2012 and is considered hot property.

Reports have suggested that United manager Louis van Gaal is preparing a big-money move to bring him back to Old Trafford, while Chelsea and Real Madrid have also been touted with an interest.

Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has admitted that it would be only elite clubs of that ilk that could afford his 21-year-old client, but has insisted that Pogba will be staying in Italy at least for the remainder of the season.

He told Sky Sports News: "Paul renewed his contract in Italy. There is a five-year deal with Juventus and what June and July brings, we will see in June and July. He will stay here this window in Italy and after that it's also up to Juventus and up to himself to see what are the possibilities and what are the things to do.

"I have been in football long enough to say that I cannot foresee the future. Today Paul Pogba is the most expensive player if he would be on the market – that's the risk, that's normal; there are only a few clubs that can afford him.

"Let's say that I am aware of the interest that there is around Paul, obviously, and without naming them, everybody that knows a little bit about football knows that there are only eight clubs that can afford him. That's the eight clubs that will get into the scramble or the battle to have him."

Pogba has scored 17 goals in 80 league games for Juventus to help them to two Serie A titles.
