Real Madrid 'put £72m price tags on Isco, Marco Asensio'

Real Madrid will reportedly demand £72.3m for each of Isco and Marco Asensio this summer as they look to raise funds after their summer spending spree.

Real Madrid will reportedly demand a fee of €80m (£72.3m) each for Isco and Marco Asensio this summer.

Both players have been on the fringes of the Madrid first team in recent seasons, with Isco starting just 11 league games last term while Asensio was restricted to 19 starts.

Los Blancos are understood to be open to offers for both players as they look to raise funds following a summer spending spree which has already seen them splash more than £300m on new arrivals.

The prospect of Paul Pogba also joining for a fee upwards of £150m means that Madrid are likely to offload at least one midfielder, and AS reports that they have now put a £72.3m asking price on both Isco and Asensio.

European champions Liverpool have been credited with an interest in 23-year-old Asensio, while Isco, 27, has been linked with Manchester City and Manchester United during the current transfer window.

Both players remain keen to stay at the Bernabeu and prove themselves to Zidane following a disappointing 2018-19 campaign.

However, Madrid are understood to be planning a mass exodus which could see the pair become two of as many as nine first-team players to leave the club this summer.
