Report: Manchester United want Alessandro Florenzi

Manchester United want to sign Roma defender Alessandro Florenzi at the end of the season, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Roma right-back Alessandro Florenzi.

The 25-year-old, who can also play in midfield, captained the Italian side in both legs of their last-16 Champions League clash with Real Madrid this season.

Florenzi has made 160 appearances for Roma in all competitions since debuting in the 2010-11 season, while he is also an Italian international of 13 caps.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Man United are preparing an offer in the region of £24m and want the deal completed before Euro 2016 this summer.

Florenzi has scored seven times in 34 appearances for Roma this season.
