Marco Reus urges Borussia Dortmund teammate Jadon Sancho to reject Man United

Marco Reus feels that Borussia Dortmund teammate should not be in any rush to leave the Bundesliga outfit for Manchester United.

Marco Reus has claimed that teammate Jadon Sancho should continue his career at Borussia Dortmund for the foreseeable future.

Having starred for the German giants during the current campaign, Sancho is being heavily linked with a transfer to Manchester United later in 2020.

However, despite acknowledging that the England international will inevitably take "the really big step", Reus feels that the 20-year-old should remain at the Westfalenstadion.

Speaking to Bild, Reus said: "Jadon is an outstanding player and will definitely remain in demand by many clubs. That is a fact. He's now playing at an even higher level than last year and would be extremely valuable in achieving our goals.

"I would advise him to stay at BVB for another year, maybe two. From my point of view, there is no better place for him at the moment.

"Afterwards, he can take the really big step as an even more complete player, having developed further in peace here as a regular starter."

Sancho currently has just over two years remaining on his contract, putting Dortmund in a position where they will realistically have to contemplate offers for his signature.
