Manchester United may reportedly be forced into a £11.2m deal for Dynamo Kiev's Aleksandar Dragovic as Roma enter the race for the defender.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move for the Austrian international, but SportItalia claims that Roma are plotting a bid of their own.
Interest from the Serie A giants could push United into sealing a move for Dragovic during this transfer window to avoid losing out on the centre-half.
Roma are said to be looking to add Dragovic to their squad after signing Seydou Doumbia from CSKA Moscow.
Arsenal were also believed to have harboured an interest in Dragovic, but reportedly ended their pursuit once they signed Gabriel Paulista from Villarreal.
