Sports Mole looks ahead to this weekend's match between Marseille and Lorient in Ligue 1.

Marseille go up against Lorient this weekend in Ligue 1 in a bid to leapfrog Lyon at the top of the table.

The home side can secure their second win on the bounce if they manage to clinch a victory over a side who currently linger in the bottom half of the table.

Lorient have the chance to move towards the top seven if they are capable of stopping Marseille in their tracks and the away side are likely to be buoyed by their slender 1-0 win over Toulouse last weekend.

Marseille are expected to opt for Jordan Ayew up front and loanee midfielder Joey Barton should keep his spot in the middle of the park, while Lorient should start Jeremie Aliadiere and Kevin Monnet-Paquet in a forward partnership.
