Jonathan Woodgate, Scott McDonald and Curtis Main miss Middlesbrough's trip to Crystal Palace, who include Mile Jedinak despite his broken nose.

Jonathan Woodgate has failed a fitness test on his calf injury and will not feature for Middlesbrough against Crystal Palace this afternoon.

The former England defender joins Scott McDonald and the suspended Curtis Main on the sidelines for the trip to Selhurst Park.

Lukas Jutkiewicz replaces Main in the Boro attack in one of two changes from the midweek win over Leeds United.

The other swap sees Andrew Halliday come in for Woodgate, an alteration which will drop Andre Amougou back into defence.

Hosting Palace also make two changes, with Swansea City loanee Ashley Richards recalled at right-back in place of Dean Moxey.

Jonathan Williams also returns to the starting XI, which includes Wilfried Zaha and Mile Jedinak, despite him suffering from a broken nose.

Palace: Speroni; Richards, Ramage, Delaney, Parr; Jedinak, Dikgacoi; Zaha, Dobbie, Williams; Murray

Boro: Steele; Parnaby, Amougou, Williams, Friend; Haroun, Leadbitter, McEachran, Halliday, Carayol; Jutkiewicz
