Michu starts for Swansea in tonight's League Cup quarter-final against Middlesbrough.

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has chosen to include star striker Michu in his side to face Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup quarter-final tonight.

Michu maintains his place in a starting XI that sees four changes from the seven-goal thriller against Norwich City at the weekend. Dwight Tiendalli and club captain Garry Monk will both start, as will Leon Britton and Itay Shechter.

Middlesbrough, meanwhile, have made five changes to their side for tonight's game, including a return for Lukas Jutkiewicz.

Justin Hoyte, Seb Hines, George Friend and Nick Bailey also play for the Championship side, while Jonathan Woodgate, Stuart Parnaby, Andrew Halliday, Josh McEachran and Marvin Emnes all miss out.

Swansea: Tremmel, Tiendalli, Chico, Monk, Davies; Dyer, Britton, de Guzman, Shechter, Routledge; Michu
Subs: Cornell, Bartley, Graham, Moore, Rangel, Sung-Yueng, Agustien

Middlesbrough: Steele; Hoyte, Bikey-Amougou Hines, Friend; Haroun, Leadbitter. Bailey, Ledesma; Jutkiewicz, McDonald
