Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has reportedly promised his players a free holiday if they manage to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.
The Magpies sit 18th in the table and are still without a win after their first seven games.
Newcastle had a net spend of just £8.7m this summer, leaving many fans angered by the lack of investment in the club.
According to the Daily Mail, Ashley has told his players that they will be rewarded with a holiday if they manage to stay in the top flight this season.
The report adds that he also informed the squad that he will not be selling the club, over a team bonding dinner on Wednesday evening.
