Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has admitted QPR were the "better team" in their Premier League encounter which ended as a goalless draw.
"They were the better team, we didn't play as well as we would have liked," Pardew told Sky Sports.
"We didn't get the ball down and play and manoeuvre the ball as well as we should have done."
The Magpies are yet to lose this season and the draw at Loftus Road saw them move into the top four behind Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea.
Pardew added that he was pleased with the side's overall performance this season so far, saying: "Our resilience and spirit were there again and that's three clean sheets now, that takes some some doing in the Premier League."
Newcastle next visit Aston Villa on Saturday.
