Newcastle United striker Loic Remy believes that the club have the quality to perform well in the Premier League this season.
The Magpies secured back-to-back wins in the top flight when they beat Aston Villa on Saturday thanks to goals from Hatem Ben Arfa and Yoan Gouffran.
Remy told Sky Sports News: "We are confident now. It was important to win, because if we can have a lot of games like this and win more and more games, it will be good for the future.
"We have a good game at home next week, and if we keep going we have the quality in the team to do very well this season."
Newcastle are eighth in the Premier League after four games this season.
